CURRICULUM INTRODUCTION

In creating a Global Student, education in an international curriculum will substantially benefit the marketability of a student.

Zenith follows an International Curriculum based on the highly recognised and globally accepted National Curriculum of England, that ultimately leads to the world-renowned IGCSE examinations and qualifications. Combined with a holistic approach in education, Zenith’s curriculum values the development of your child throughout their learning process. Although emphasis is given to global perspectives, the International Curriculum embraces Asian values and literacy in Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. The programme offers four key stages of education, from Primary to Secondary and Pre-University.

Primary School

Our International Primary Curriculum caters for pupils in Years 1 to 6 (ages 6-12) and emphasises on the three (3) core subjects – English, Mathematics and Science. Based on the UK national curriculum Key Stages 1 and 2, it gives pupils a well-rounded education and an easy-to-implement framework and way of monitoring pupil progress. Students are prepared towards the Primary Achievement Test at the end of Year 6.

Secondary School

Our International Secondary Curriculum caters for pupils in Years 7 to 11 (ages 12-17) and is based on the UK national curriculum Key Stage 3 and 4. It gives pupils a well-rounded education while giving teachers an easy-to-implement framework and way of monitoring pupil progress. We prepare students for their IGCSE, which is the world’s most popular international qualification for 15 to 17 year olds. It is recognised by leading universities and employers worldwide, and is an international passport to progression and success.
