Zenith International School delivers an international curriculum, the contents of which assimilate the best of national and international curriculum that is proven and time-tested. In this way, students will get the best of both worlds in the sense that they will receive internationally recognised awards without compromising on Malaysian content. The curriculum closely follows the UK National Curriculum. Students who complete their primary education will attempt the Primary Achievement Test at the end of Year 6.
All Malaysian students must take the compulsory Malaysian subjects. Medium of instruction is English, except for the second language subjects.
Our Primary syllabus, typically for 6 to 12 year old, gives students a curriculum framework to develop English, Mathematics, and Science skills, knowledge and understanding in younger learners. The Primary syllabus provides guidance for curriculum development and classroom teaching and learning. It enables teachers to assess children’s learning as they progress to the Primary Achievement Test at the end of Year 6.
Our Primary syllabus aids identification of a learner’s strengths and weaknesses and can be used to support learning and development. It provides learners with excellent preparation so they can progress seamlessly into the Secondary 1 (Year 7) and beyond.
